First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of blogging. The last couple of months have been crazy around here. I will get back to regular posting this week. I finished up calculating my totals for the year. I was hoping to keep my weekly grocery budget at $40.00/week. I ended up averaging $69.00/week for a savings of 77%. This includes all groceries and toiletries.
Total OOP: $3,315.00
Total Savings: $12,345.00
Percentage Saved: 77%
Average Weekly Spending: $69.00
I also submitted $549.00 worth of rebates. So if you subtract my rebates from my OOP, the total I spent OOP is $2,766.00 for a total savings of 79%
My grocery budget for 2011 is $200.00/month. We are doing cash only this year, so I will have to stick to my budget.
