Frito-Lay Giveaway

With the new school year upon us, many are getting snacks together to pack lunches. Frito-Lay has many snack options available.

Chips from Frito-Lay are not only great for packing in lunches, you can also enjoy them with a dip. Below is my go to dip when I need something quick to prepare whether it is for a party or a quick snack at home:

Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 (10 oz) cans chunk chicken (drained)
2 ( 8 oz) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 c. ranch dressing
3/4 c. pepper sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot)
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 bunch celery (cut into 4 in. pieces, cleaned)
1 (8 oz) box chicken-flavored crackers or crackers of our choice

Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on low until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

Frito-Lay has recently come out with a new line of potato chips titled Regional Flavors:

Northeastern U.S. – Lay’s Honey Mustard
Midwestern U.S. – Lay’s Creamy Garden Ranch
Northwestern U.S. – Lay’s Balsamic Sweet Onion
Southwestern U.S. – Lay’s Chipotle Ranch
Southeastern U.S. – Lay’s Cajun Herb & Spice

All of the Lay’s Regional Flavored potato chips are made with all natural ingredients, and are cooked in healthier oils so they contain 0 grams of trans fats per serving!

There’s also less sodium in them than you might think – a 1-oz serving of our Lay’s Regional Flavored potato chips contains less salt than a plain bagel!

I haven't tried any of the new chips, but I hope to try the Honey Mustard and Balsamic Sweet Onion in the near future.

Giveaway Rules:

Publix Total Savings 85%

I had an awesome trip to Publix today. I don't have time to list each item with the coupons. There were a couple of items that gave me overage: (10) Mentos 2 for $1.00. I used the 50/1 which doubled, and gave me an overage of $5.00. I did two separate transactions so I could use two $5/$30 Purchase coupons. So I spent $17.20 ( which included over $11.00 in pork chops)and saved $94.36. I will go back one more time next week to purchase more canned vegetables.
